How much is a taxi in Cyprus? 2026 fare guide
Cyprus has no train network, so taxis and private transfers do most of the airport work. Below are the fixed prices Dimitris Taxi charges from Larnaca (LCA) and Paphos (PFO) airports, plus how the meter-free pricing works for everything else.
Fixed airport transfer prices
Prices are per vehicle (up to 4 passengers in a Mercedes E-Class, up to 7 in a V-Class), include tolls, luggage, child seats and flight tracking. They act as a minimum fare of €70: unusually long routings are priced with the standard city tariff when that is higher.

City and intercity rides
For non-airport journeys we quote a flat price before you travel, based on distance and time of day: the morning tariff (06:00–20:00) is €5 plus €0.75 per kilometre and €30 per hour of driving time, and the night tariff (20:00–06:00) is €6 plus €0.75 per kilometre and €40 per hour. Estate vehicles add 10% and minivans / V-Class add 30% to the calculated city fare. You always see the price before confirming — nothing changes en route.
Are taxis expensive in Cyprus?
Short town hops are inexpensive, while long cross-island trips (for example Larnaca Airport to Paphos) are the priciest because of the distance involved. Booking a fixed-price private transfer in advance is usually cheaper than a metered rank taxi at the airport, and far cheaper for groups than several individual seats on a shuttle.
